Serena Williams is making some big moves in the world of Los Angeles real estate lately. The Los Angeles Times reports that the tennis superstar paid $6.68 million this month on a 6,000-square-foot residence in a tony gated community with a 90210 zip code.

The same week, Williams listed a six-bedroom home in Bel Air that she’s owned for a little over a decade. It’s asking just under $12 million.

The new house is located in the Summit Estates, at the southwestern edge of Studio City. Freshly built, it has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, along with a long list of amenities that includes a gym, a home theater, a music room, a game room, and a wine cellar.

From the outside, the home has a Mediterranean design, with barrel tile roofs and wrought iron balconies. From the inside, however, it sports a minimalist vibe, with washed out walls, oak floors, and brass hardware. Wide windows and glass doors let in plenty of light and provide views across the city.

Williams’s new house sits on a roughly quarter-acre lot with a grassy backyard, a swimming pool, a barbecue area, and a two-car garage. The property isn’t as large as her Bel Air residence, which has nearly three acres of land, but it offers nice views and privacy.
