Malibu High School students and faculty helped make more than 200 sack lunches for the homeless and hungry last week. The locals packed lunches with sandwiches, fruit, chips and drinks donated by MHS families.

The lunches were delivered to the Ocean Park Community Center in Santa Monica to aid those in need. Nena Lauerman, the service learning coordinator at MHS, organized the service day.
